Athlone Sports Day with Mr. Stain

The Movie Clip which you are about to watch was taken in the late 1950s by Mr. Jack Bourne at Douglas Park. It reflects a typical Athlone Sports Day with Boys running down a lime lined track while Parents and Athlone Staff look on. The film closes as the Students are brought together for the presentation of cups and ribbons.
