| In May, Chris Robertson '66 pulled off an unusual
reunion - the first-ever gathering of Athlone School Old Boys. The reunion was unusual because the
former Vancouver school had closed in the 70s. It took great efforts by Robertson to rally old
Athlonians who came from as far as Australia for the event. Among the Athlone Old Boys there is
a strong Shawnigan connection. That's because a number of Athlone students went on to either
Shawnigan, Saint Georges or Brentwood. |

| Athlone/Brentwood Boys enjoyed rubbing shoulders with chums from Shawnigan and Saints, as they had in their Athlone days on the sport field. |
